Shimla, 26th September, 2022. The Election Commission (ECI) of India had commissioned our Orchestra, “Harmony of the Pines” , to produce a video to encourage voters to come and vote. This was under the ECI programme of SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) & UTSAV (Universal Transparent elections through Systematic Awareness of Voters).
Pleased to share that on 24th September, 2022 our video “Vote karo, matdan karo”
was released by the Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner Shri Rajiv Kumar and Hon’ble
Election Commissioner Shri Anup Chandra Pandey. The complete Election Commission of India highly appreciated this video. The CEC & EC honoured our Orchestra.
Now ECI have expressed interest to commission our Orchestra for other works by ECI.
On 22nd September, the Department of Posts, Government of India released a Special
Cover in their honour. Shri Sanjay Kundu, DGP-HP quoted that “it is a proud moment for the Orchestra and Himachal Pradesh Police”.
